Yes, like so many other photographers, I started taking photos at a young age. My father had a Kodak 35mm camera that I would use. He loved taking pictures of our family and the places we traveled. Looking back at those photos, I realized that he captured our lives forever at 1/125 of a second.
I am proud that I had a formal education in photography. I learned everything from making a pinhole camera to processing analog film and prints. Even though cameras and technology have changed, good composition, the use of light, and the ability to tell a visual story remains the same.
It does not matter to me if the subject is a product, portrait, or an architectural shot of a space. Creating an image that is designed well and has credibility over time is my goal. I enjoy the challenge of going on location, not knowing what I will find there, but coming back with the best photo possible. When I have exceeded my client's expectations and have created an honest image, I have done my job as a commercial photographer.
I have been producing images for clients since 1990. I value the opportunity to work with you on your next project. Please feel free to contact me about our services.
I currently live in Raleigh, NC with my beautiful and talented wife, Bambi, and our way too many furry friends.
