I believe great portrait photography is about more than simply taking a picture. My goal is to create portraits that capture your personality, character, and the qualities that make you unique.
As a portrait photographer, I photograph individuals, professionals, executives, and teams in a way that feels natural and authentic. Depending on the purpose of the session, I can create traditional portraits with a clean, polished look or take a more environmental approach that tells a deeper story.
Environmental Portraits
Environmental portrait photography allows me to photograph you in a setting that is meaningful to you. Instead of placing you in a traditional studio, I use your workplace, home, business, outdoor location, or another familiar environment to help tell your story.
I find that people are often more relaxed and comfortable in surroundings they know. That comfort allows me to capture genuine expressions, natural interactions, and details that reveal more about who they are.
For businesses and professionals, environmental portraits can also communicate what you do and where you do it. Whether I am photographing an executive in their office, an artist in their studio, or a team at work, I look for ways to incorporate the environment into the portrait while keeping the focus on the person.
My approach
My approach is to make the shoot relaxed and collaborative. I work with each person to create images that feel professional without looking stiff or overly posed.
